Ing. Adam Šárek

Currently I’m employed as a Full-Stack Developer at LinuxBox.cz, s.r.o. I’m a graduate of the Master’s degree in Informatics and Computer Science at VSB - Technical University of Ostrava. During my studies I got acquainted with all phases of software development and management and gained knowledge in various areas of computer science (e.g. cybersecurity), which I would like to apply in practice.

Recently, I’m most familiar with the JavaScript programming language together with the Node.js environment, both of which I used in the development of my bachelor and master thesis. I’m also familiar with the C# programming language and the .NET environment, which I have used in most of my student projects. In addition to these, I’m able to work with languages such as Java, Python, SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS and more.

I’m a native Czech speaker. I also speak English (C1 level) and some German (A2 level). As I have lived most of my life near the Slovak and Polish borders, I understand both Slovak and Polish to some extent.
